This is actually a remix using the original “Thriller” Master recordings, that was done and used for the Live shows. Michael usually lipsynced this song, like most artists do when theres alot of choreography and dancing. Its really cool to hear an actual studio version of it, rather than live audio. This is actually a pretty rare item!!! Thanks for posting!
It’s not a rehearsal, AshlyH2. The audience probably would want to HEAR him, not just scream like maniacs and not hear him at all. Then there would be no point of going to that concert. EVERYONE would just hear screaming. But, there’s another possibility that the people filming Michael Jackson just edited the audience out, like nick100108 said. So yeah. Great Video. xD
this is a rehearsal, for one…it sounds exactly like the recorded version which almost never happens live. secondly, he puts on a full mask and you can hear him just as clearly, and thirdly ive never heard an audience go COMPLETELY silent just for a song, no matter who it was.

thats because if the audience is screaming at his amazingness you wouldnt be able to hear him scream, thats how it is in videos.
